In a nutshell

Müller (Mueller) is a multinational producer of dairy products, with a headquarters in Fischach, Germany. In 1971, Theobald Alfons Müller took over his father’s small dairy. Today, the Müller Group is an international, chilled-food business with operations in more than 10 countries. It is also one of the UK's best selling yogurt brands and best known for its range of yogurts, including the trademark 'Müller Corner' and 'Müllerlight'. Which is a yoghurt with 99 kcal or less.

The challenge

For their limited edition flavor in spring "raspberry doughnut" they needed a packaging design for the pot, lid and tray.

The target group was described as:
female, between 16-45 with a huge interest in fashion, traveling, trends, being fit & healthy and always on the hunt for the perfect picture. Müllerlight is the perfect yoghurt for them, since they get to eat and enjoy all the delicious snacks without worrying about calories. 

 

The design

During a creative session, my coworkers and I created several design directions following the "female shift" trend including mood boards, scribbles and first implementations of those ideas. At the end the client decided to go with one of my designs, since it pictured the interests and style of the target group completely.
After several feedback rounds, the final product fits into the Müllerlight range perfectly.
