In a nutshell

"Choreography" is an international choreography competition hosted by the Ballet Society Hannover e.V. every year since 1980. Over this long period, the event has achieved a prominent position in the national and International dance scene. Testament to the importance of this event in the International dance scene is not only the renowned jury, but also the fact, that every year approximately 160 choreographers from 45 nations apply.

The challenge

To advertise their competition it was important to find a way to show the variety of all the different dance styles and choreographies.

To show the variety of the competition, I created a mix of illustrations and wording around the dance topic. Also to show all the different emotions choreographies work with I painted the silhouette of the dancers in a color gradient.
