My name is Patricia, I'm 27 years old and extremely passionate about design.

What I love most about my job is the fact that with every new project I get the chance to create something beautiful and life-changing.

 

 

During my studies and especially during my time at "Roman Klis Design" I started to perfect my work as a graphic designer. I am experienced at concept designs, project management, and final design implementations. My on-the-job experience has afforded me a diverse skill set, including first-rate multi-tasking and communication abilities in English and German.

I also excel at:

  • Conceptualization and designing of editorial, advertising, packaging and POS
  • Contributing creative ideas during brainstorming sessions
  • Prioritizing workloads and coordinating multiple projects concurrently

I have worked effectively in diverse teams made up of many different nationalities, which has helped me become an effective communicator and also to understand the different needs and perspectives of each client.
I am reliable, outgoing and a very hard worker who achieves objectives consistently and with determination. Learning is important to me and I would like to develop my skills further as I advance my career.

Besides all those important skills of a graphic designer, I love being outside regardless of the season (from hiking to snowboarding- I'm in!). Being in the nature really helps me to refuel new energy and creativity. During my time as an aupair I also turned from an all-inclusive tourist into a traveller and discovered my passion for photography and learning more about different cultures.

 

Timeline

  • 2017-2019

    Between September 2017 until February 2019 I've been working with a German construction company. During this time I've successfully redesigned their Corporate Design including a new website. Which increased the work assignments of the company by 20%.

  • 2016-2017

    Starting September 2016 until the end of August 2017 I‘ve been working as a trainee at Roman Klis Design in Herrenberg, Germany, a global packaging agency in the FMCG market. During this time I‘ve been working on national and international projects in no less than 70 countries across all five continents for clients like Nestlé, Schwans Food Company, Haribo, Schwartau, Cosnova and Ehrmann. 

  • 2014-2016

    Between August 2014 and June 2016 I‘ve been working abroad as an aupair in Denver, CO with Cultural Care Aupair. I‘ve been taking care of 3 boys and supported their parents daily routine. During this time I learned a lot about working in a team despite the cultural and speech differences. I also took some College classes at Denver Metro South Campus.

  • 2014

    In June 2014 I graduated at „Akademie U5“ after 6 semester in Munich, Germany with a Bachlor of Arts in graphic design. Akademie U5 is one of Germany's best colleges for graphic design.

  • 2013

    In May 2013 I successfully participated at the logo competition for the State Chancellery for Political Educational Work in Munich, Germany.

  • 2012

    In February 2012 I successfully participated at the logo competition for the annual „Bavarian archiving day“ in Munich, Germany.

  • 2011

    In June 2011 I graduated at „Rolf-Benz-Schule“ (Highschool) with AP-level. Besides the compulsory subjects I also studies some electives like design, media technology and IT.

  • 2008

    In August 2008 I successfully completed a graphic design internship at „Die Leute für Kommunikation“ a B2B-marketing agency in Sindelfingen, Germany. During this time I got a perfect look into the daily business of a graphic designer.
